Former ECHL Cyclones center David Desharnais is ranked in a poll conducted by ESPN as the NHL's 99th best forward after not being ranked last year.

Former Cincinnati Mighty Ducks Ryan Getzlaf (5th), Corey Perry (7th), Chris Kunitz (37th) and Joffrey Lupul (86th) also made the list of the top 100 forwards.

Former Cincinnati Mighty Ducks head coach Mike Babcock was ranked as the third-best coach in the NHL, former Cincinnati Tigers center Bruce Boudreau the seventh and former Cincinnati Cyclones IHL defenseman Dallas Eakins the worst (30th).

Eakins' ranking has more to do with the team he has in Edmonton than his ability as a head coach. In a different situation he'd be in the top 15.
