Posted - 05/23/2014 : 2:38:19 PM These guys are giving me anxiety during this series. They dig a hole early and find a way to get on top, but then can't play with a lead. Exciting games thus far. I'd prefer to see less shorthanded goals against, but I'm glad they're up a game. Simon and McDonald need to identify the breakdown on the power play. I've never seen anything like it.
The Road Warrior seem to be a tough match up - good speed and lots of size. It would be nice to get Dalhuisen back to keep them honest in front of the net.
Hoping for a couple more weekend victories! |

Posted - 05/28/2014 : 09:38:24 AM Oh BTW I ran into a slew of Road Warriors fans and they were complimenting the team on how good they play.... right back at ya, Warrior fans... this was a fantastic series, my hats off to Greenville for the way they played! |

Posted - 05/28/2014 : 09:36:25 AM The series will not go back to Anchorage.... I am feeling positive about that... I like this because the home ice team should always be able to get game 7... I only wish it was us hosting that, but were in the finals and thats all that matters :D |

I know what you are saying but two trips to Alaska would be a cost nightmare for the Clones. Tuesday I was talking to some Toledo fans () and they were telling me it cost around $20,000 for Kalamazoo to make a trip to Alaska. If the team had to lay out roughly $40 grand for travel, this season would probably be in red ink.
Well Bags, you were pretty close in your 3-4 finals prediction. This 3-3-1 is even worse though. A lot of pressure on the boys to take at least one in Alaska, and two would be awesome but a tough feat to pull off. |

Posted - 05/27/2014 : 11:26:24 AM Really looking forward to tonight's game. I hope they have a decent crowd. I've been trying to get the word out as much as possible.
For those who went to Greenville, how were the games down there over the weekend? I was looking for video highlights through several media outlets, but came up empty handed. |

Yep, just like the attendance figures for all their home playoff games reflects so far!

Posted - 05/24/2014 : 1:46:18 PM "IF" we get past Greenville and "IF" Alaska reaches the finals, this series is a perfect type team for the Cyclones to play. Alaska is big and fast with home rink advantage. Don't know the final schedule but travel for Alaska would best be 3 - 4 with Alaska the choice. The way we play at home lately, 4 on the road would be best ! Back to reality and no more games like Tuesday's nightmare. |
