Something is changing down at USBA. During the last few weeks of the season and during the "garage sale" the Cyclones were selling game ready jerseys and anything with the standard crest(including unused practice jerseys) for cheap. I am guessing a new jersey/logo.
Any thoughts or ideas? |

You responded to the correct statement by sinninman "besides I think Evansville already has the Blue Jackets affiliation" with your comment "They have already announced an affiliation with Nashville but way to stay informed."implying sinbinman was wrong.
Had you stayed awake in your English class you would have known that the "They" in your comment refers to the subject, which was Evansville, of the referred to sinbinman sentence. Thus I and others took your comment to mean Evansville had signed a recent Nashville affiliation and thus the Cyclones were looking at Columbus as a replacement. That is why I and Biscuitinthebasket looked for an article stating that and obviously couldn't find one. Had you used proper grammar or stated that the Nashville affiliation was renewed then we would have realized you meant the Cyclones/Nashville affiliation.
Thats what happens when you go off your meds. Please make sure you are back on by hockey season. |

I did the same recon as DHC yesterday and found the same, which is interesting. Icemen site is under construction, Blue Jackets site doesn't talk about affiliation AND the Florida Panthers never have publicly said anything about re-up with the Cyclones, although the Panther site does include a Cyclones link. |

Can you give me a link to that announcement? Can't seem to find it. The Icemen's web site is down for reconstruction also which makes me think there might be some truth to this but can't seem to find a link to the announcement and nothing is on the Columbus, Springfield, or Nashville sites. I would have thought an announcement that changed the affiliation of the Cyclones would have been on here, the local press, the ECHL website, etc.
By the way, I could care less about the jersey color scheme or the logo. Put a good product on the ice no matter how good looking or ugly the jersey's are.

If this is anything like they are thinking for a new logo they might as well keep what they have or just put "Cincinnati" across the front. That is flat horrible, one sure fire way to be voted worst logo again. My eight year old could be more creative than that. Just my opinion of course which means absolutely nothing.
Besides I think Evansville already has the Bluejackets affiliation.
They have already announced an affiliation with Nashville. But way to stay informed. |

They could have something up their sleeve. They just sent out an obtuse tweet with a hockey stick in front of a lightning bolt and #windsofchange.

I say if they do anything it should be to update and bring back the original "C" logo that was voted as being terrible. It was quite awesome IMO.
Lettering saying "Cyclones" or "Cincinnati" across the front is a complete cop out. It's unoriginal and boring. |

I don't really like the current look of any of the game eligible jerseys. Thought that the warmups last season looked really sharp, though. A silver could look pretty awesome if done right, maybe as a special third jersey. |

A New York Rangers-style jersey with Cyclones for the home and Cincinnati for the road diagonally would be a good look with black, red and silver as the colors. |

Gotta have new merchandise to sell to the people that already bought the old merchandise.
