I had not seen Evansville's third jerseys that they wore Wednesday night. They were obviously "borrowed" from Ottawa's thirds. I liked the look. I did notice that they were SP brand, not CCM, the official uniform supplier of the ECHL. Does anyone have any insight on this ?

Teams are allowed to us SP for specialty jerseys, primary sweaters have to be CCM. You'll see the Cyclones using alternate manufacturers for their specialty jerseys as well. I don't know exactly what the number is, but I think as long as non CCM jerseys aren't more than a specified amount it's OK. It doesn't matter if it's the same jersey multiple times or diferent jerseys, as long as the total number of games isn't exceeded. Again, I'm not 100% on this but I think that's the way it works.
