The Cyclones need one more win to match the Cincinnati Tigers for the most victories in one season by a professional hockey team at U.S. Bank Arena. The Tigers went 46-30-4 for 98 points and a second place finish in 1981-82 at the then-called Riverfront Coliseum as the primary affiliate for the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Tigers played an 80-game schedule, while the Cyclones still have 15 remaining on a 72-game schedule. The Cyclones are six wins shy of matching the record for the most victories in one season by a Cincinnati team carrying the Cyclones name (51 -- 1995-96 IHL Cyclones).
