By far, the UGLIEST display of hockey I have seen. Hope this isn't the start of something bad. I know we can't win em all, but this was pathetic to say the least.

I didn't make it, looks like a fortunate thing. Sure hope they rebound before tomorrow night at WesBanco. First time being shutout, I was really hoping we wouldn't get that all year. Oh well. Ugly.

Yep, we got a few chances tonight but the passing was off, pucks bouncing off sticks. I think Starling now being in the lineup was a huge factor. Hope Swanson gets well soon and we get Jason back after his 2 games off.

I told my wife last night's game was titled "this is your brain". Tonight's game "this is your brain on drugs". Complete opposite from last night where they could do no wrong. Oh well, shrug it off and let's rebound.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I think Trenton dished out a"taste of our own medicine".Also the
end of all streaks-no points for DD,no more home winning streak.
Who do you start in goal tomorrow? I vote for Maxime only because
Wheeling just saw Cody.We looked so good in the first but couldn't
get it in the goal.We layed a giant turd the rest of the game.

That fight in the 3rd should have happend after it was 3-0
not with 9mins to go in the game. I think this might be a good
thing for the clones to get beat like this. It may have stoped
all the streaks but it also might have popped some big heads (if any was getting that way).

I want to say WTF was wrong with Max before he was pulled, but WTF was wrong with the entire team? JUST SLOPPY. I knew another loss was coming, but to be SHUT OUT to TRENTON who is playing their former back-up JASON SMITH since Caruso is gone... just embarrassing. I would not be near as upset with tonights game if we looked decent out there at any point the entire night. It was bad from start to finish. They looked like they forgot how to skate, pass, defend and shoot! and LOL @ the brain analogy!

I thought we played ok, but it was definitely getting bad at times.

It sucks not having Jason on the ice and then the fact that we have all these new faces on a team that was so tight knit might keep the recent play lacking.

Hopefully Chuck gives them a good speech and gets them ready for tomorrow.

Play was horrible, Not to mention the power plays but thats sounding like a broken record ..and to top it off they start fighting!! What the hell?!?! If I was Chuck Weber I'd be dropping some elbows in that locker room. The cyclones have come to far to start playing like this. They need to get their heads straight and "DO WORK SON" !! Hopefully the trip to wheeling is worth it!!!

Just a bad day at the office. Well, make that a real bad day.

Weber really gave it to them during the timeout after they fell behind 2-0. He also was pretty quick with the trigger in lifting Daigneault. I didn't think he was at fault on the first two. The third was soft, but Weber certainly gave G-Morris a much longer leash. He's still a young coach, and I wonder if he wasn't overreacting to an inevitable lousy game and effort by the team. The season has a long way to go. I hope he doesn't get too wound up about an occassional loss-even if it's a bad one. This team has a good chance to go far in the playoffs. A bit of a lull in our quality of play for a few games isn't necessarily a bad thing. This team has been running in overdrive for a long time and my hope is that the clones haven't peaked too early. The games for the next 10 days( vs. Day, whl and Jhn) needn't be played in a 'pressure cooker" environment created by the coach. They're really not critical. If the boys 'coast' for a short time it may even be to their longer term benefit. The last 7 or 8 games of the regular season are where it's best not to have team floundering. That's when the coaching 'whip' is a necessity. Not now.

If I had to wager a guess, i'd say that he pulled him to stir up the team, not because he was playing terribly. The only soft goal was the third one, and he made some other saves on horrible turnovers and defense that prevented this from being 10-0.

To someone down on the "Section 60" end.In the third period on the second goal that
Cody allowed, what was the story? From the other end he looked like he was laying
belly down on top and all of a sudden the ref calls for a goal.Any help?

He was down on his belly, and I (along with everyone else apparently) thought the puck was underneath him, all the sudden we see the puck flopped into the net. So, I'm guessing it somehow got lose from under him and was hit straight in while everyone thought it was under control.
