| You know that if the Cyclones disband, it'll be your fault, right? |

Yeah man... it's kind of the broadcaster's job to talk to people like that. I don't see why you guys doubt Donnie Hockey so much. He knows his stuff as well or better than anyone else in the business would.
Three reasons: Ducks. Gardens. Robinsons. My associate with those three things was a problem for some Cyclones fans. Even though the Ducks have been gone for three years, some Cyclones fans still can't let it go. If I go to a game, Cyclones fans think I must have some sort of agenda. If I say something positive about the team, they ask what does he really mean by that. If I state the reality of the situation about something, I'm a hater. Don't know what I'm talking about. Never played the game. Whatever. Cyclones fans can knock themselves out bashing me if they want. It makes them feel better about themselves and more secure about their team.
I haven't any problem with an association with the Ducks etc. I, as many on this forum did, went to many of their games. Many hoped that the Railraiders would become a reality. Your past associations haven't anything to do with the viewpoints of many.
The problem is simply you. |

| You're one of those people who don't believe the truth even when it's being told to you. A lot of coaches like talking about their team. The one's that don't still know it's part of the job to deal with the broadcasters and media. If you were a broadcaster and you asked Don Lever, "How's Desjardins been since he was called up from Cincinnati?" like I did last season, he'd tell you what he thought. |

| That may or may not be true, but I can assure you that I have been to many many games with Donnie Hockey this year, and his intentions are very genuine... he just wants to watch a hockey game. A lot of people had a lot of rude things to say to him. It's because of those types of things that the Cyclones didn't win over many Ducks fans. It's a simple fact. The Cyclones put on a good game every time. It's always exciting and fun to watch, but when people feel genuinely unwelcome, that poses a problem. |

To the moderator/board owner:
Sorry to get into this garbage on your board.
I will completely ignore Donnie Hockey/2 minutes well worth it and whatever other screen names he uses or will come up with-he's pretty easy to figure out. This is a nice, upbeat board. I won't contribute to it becoming another sorry disaster like Heckler's Grove. |

| I am willing to bet hrc666 my game-worn Cincinnati Stingers Dennis Sobchuk jersey that 2minuts and I are not one and the same. What is he willing to put up since he's so sure he's right? |

| I don't exactly have a game-worn Stinger jersey since I wasn't alive back then (again, DH and I aren't the same person) but I'll certainly buy you a beer if you can prove we're the same person. |

| My Stingers game-worn jersey versus your credibility with the Cincinnati hockey fans that view this board and HG? You willing to accept this bet, hrc666? Or are the stakes too high for you? |

| hrc you are wasting your time and not going to win whatever your trying to do....even it they are the same people. Lets just be glad that the totally negative Citizendick isn't on this site. And for those who think Donniehockey is...I don't think so....At least Donnie isn't degrating the Cyclones like others on the other message board. |

Ok seriously you three, CUT IT OUT!
This thread is not, i repeat NOT about the stupid hockey war or the ducks or anything. It is a space to discuss our opinions about Hamilton, the fact they are not doing well, and the fact that a lot of clones fans want Ceddy to come back because he is an asset to our team in cincinnati.
Ok, so his coach at Hamilton may not like him for the way he is playing right now. I think he has more important things to worry about and needs to send Ceddy here where he can get experience and continue to succeed in the game. I think you both, like so many others, underestimate how hard this guy will work to get where he wants to be. I agree with the thought voiced by some friends that he may need to play in the echl another year or two, but give him a break! How many times has he helped with the game for us?
I am not trying to start a fight with any of you guys but seriously, take a step back and realize what your doing here. This is a board for cyclones fans, to talk about the cyclones, and have a good time. You need to chill. Please. |

| HRC...Ain't it funny how 2min's posts are always second, and only 2-3 minutes behind DH's? Maybe not the same person, but we all know Little Rubber Duckies always come in 2!! Does he know what he's talking about? I dunno, but it sounds like it. I don't care either. I know this 2007-2008 Cyclones Team. The past is the past and we can't change it. The future no one knows. OK, maybe Jesus, but I haven't seen his name on any of these posts. We're headed to the playoffs, and we just won a division. How about using all this energy to cheer on our team. My shoulders (and vocal chords) are getting tired! |
