I am surprised nobody has given an thought about last night's win. It is only the 2nd time I have been able to make it to a game, so I can't compare their play to what has happened this season. Overall the Clones looked like a championship caliber team. the 4th goal for the Cyclones had to have been one of the pretiest shots I have seen in a long time. If the media ever gave the Clones any attention, that would have made the highlight reel for all 4 of the stations.
It was also nice to see so many Bullies losing their cool late in the 3rd period. Always a sign of frustration. Despite a couple of very cheap shots (shot in the back) and throwing a punch after play stopped, right in front of the ref, too (no penalty was called) the Clones still concentrated on winning the game, and not on retalitation. |
