I am also surprised that bubba was left off. but chuck always has a way of making things work so until further notice i am gonna give him the benefit of the doubt. plus with syro injured if we would get maki back at least there is someone to stand in front of the net.
and schmidt...well i know it's everyone's (especially elvis') favorite defenseman but honestly i'd take him over wolfe anyday. and with max back and conrad,tj and cedrick on their way back i think overall the first round might go okay. |

| I'm fairly pleased with the roster, I was especially happy to see JM on the roster, I would have to believe that Chuck has a pretty good reason to have him on the roster,I would beleave that he knows the potential to getting him back as well as Ceddy, Overall i'm pleased. Lastly and I'm certainly not worried because we dropped a few late to Dayton as well, But I'm wanting to see the Clones that virtually dominated Johntown throughout the regular season. |

Rudkowski got the "thanks but no thanks treatment". Too bad for him.
I was surprised about Wolfe not being included.
I'd take Schmidt or Maki over Sixsmith any day of the week. Sixsmith never did hit his offensive stride this season. He was yo-yoed between teams. He has a valid excuse. But, we don't need another small forward, especially one who is light on the offense.
If Daoust is returned in the first round that would be awesome. He didn't dress again (2 of the last 3 now) and hasn't been very effective of late in W/B-not too unusual for a rookie jumping levels. I'm sure he'll be able sustain his early success in the AHL next season.
We're locked and fully loaded. Bring on the Chiefs!! |

| I don't think that Cody played that Bad, however the roster as it is, If we do( God forbid) have a Goaltender on the roster go down, would Cody be available? |

| why wouldn't Cody be on the roster anyway? instead of Lee, for what ever happens I think we would be better off having two "Goalies" instead of a emergency, If we get or when we get Cedrick back we just drop Cody, intead of having the three we could have Max, Ceddy and Cody, maybe i'm missing something? am I? |

| the only way cody could have remained with the team is if chuck would have decided to carry 3 goalies which would have taken a d-man or a forward. granted i'd have rather seen 3 goalies than bryan schmidt. the last thing we need is a d-man that spends 90% of his shift back checking...... |

SCHMIDT BEFORE BUBBA??? Even if they played the same position they wouldn't be comparable (but I guess Schmidt THINKS he's a forward).
The only reason I see Maki over Bubba is because he has the size and grit (which was Chuck's excuse for having him on there) but personally I think we have grit with McElroy coming back. I feel like Bubba fit SO seemlessly with this team.
Overall I think we're pretty stacked for PO's... and for the record I am NOT suprised about Wolfe not making it. I'm trusting Chuck's decisions and hoping we have Chico/BIB/Beau completely healthy and available ASAP.

I don't understand the goalie logic if you can carry Lee as a emergency-why not carry Cody instead. Yes I know the money is probably greater for Cody but unless he is asking the moon for salary, it would be costly if Maxime gets hurt and you then have Cedrick and Lee for backup. The main thing right now is we need our skating wounded and call-ups back to play probably the much better (and physical) Johnstown in round two. |

WBS got 4 guys from Wheeling today so they're probably stacked. |
