The ECHL announced its All-Rookie team Thursday, and neither Benoit Doucet nor Pierre-Luc Faubert were among the six players (three forwards, two defensemen, one goalie) named. The team was voted on by the league's coaches. Jackals coach Steve Martinson said Thursday afternoon he didn't yet know who the All-Rookie team members were and that he had to look at the players' plus-minuses before he could comment.
...what?!!! Seriously?? And we played Elmira how many times?
Martinson later said, "I wouldn't trade my rookies for any of those guys. I'm lucky to have two guys who work so well together."
