Because I had nothing better to do than think of this at work today, join in the fun:
“Dream Team”
North Division Semi-Finals Fantasy Hockey
• Choose SIX players from the pool of both Johnstown & Cincinnati's rosters (included at the bottom), comprised of: THREE forwards, TWO defensemen, ONE goaltender. You can mix & match any combination of players from either team.
• Choose wisely – you’re locked in to those picks the entire series, with one exception. If one of your players is placed on the Injured Reserve, you may choose another at that point, but that player’s statistics are not retroactive, you will only get his points from the date of IR placement on. But if you choose Max Daigneault as your goalie and he plays two games and not again, sorry about your luck.
• Lineups must be emailed to me by 7:30pm on Friday, April 11th. If it’s late, you’re out this round.
• The point system is as follows:
Offensive Statistics
Goal: 2.0
Assist: 1.0
Plus/Minus: Actual (i.e. if your player is +3, you get 3 points.)
OT or GWG: 3.0 (you get 3.0 instead of the 2.0 above)
OT or GWA: 2.0 (you get 2.0 instead of 1.0 as above)
5+ SOG in 1 game: 0.5
10+ SOG in 1 game: 1.0
Minor Penalty: -0.5
Major Penalty: -1.0
Misconduct: -1.5
Goaltending Statistics
Win: 2.0
Loss: -2.0
Shutout: 3.0
Goal Against: -0.25
30+ Saves: 0.5
40+ Saves: 1.0
50+ Saves: 2.0
After each game I’ll total up your points earned and subtract the points lost, and post standings.
