Another great game tonight. Nie was very sharp early in keeping the game 1-0 for a while. Not many goalies could handle that many Cyclone power plays, but he was on top of it. Have to love the quick back to back goals. Crowd of nearly 5000 on hand to see it.
On to the War Memorial to finish the sweep just like with Toledo last year!
Great game-great series lead-BUT..... Who brought the jerk ushers and concession people back in!Our section (125) had a chinese fire drill because someone was sitting in the wrong seat.At least 35 people ended up switching seats so that everyone was in their right location. Then later I went to the concession booth on the outside over near where the trophies were and the idiot kid took my bottle cap because people were throwing them and they had to take them. Luckily I had my earlier cap but this is crap! My next email is going to the Cyclone's to see what their take is. Cameras,bottle caps,correct seats,what's next? Will I have to stop wearing my "old style" jersey because it is not current! If you would have given me a stick last night and sent me on the ice,I promise #44 Sgori and #5 Saunders would have been counting teeth today. I hope we don't have a game next Friday because I hope we sweep their butts in 4.
We experienced the same problem with the ushers. We were sitting on the end of 124. The usher made the people get up while the puck was in play!There was less than 2 minutes left in the period. We have listened to the ushers explain to the complaining "fans" that the reason they can't go to their seats while the puck is in play is because the season ticket holders complain. I finally said...."it is common hockey etiquette." Some people are actually angry that they have to wait. We almost didn't renew our season tickets for this season because of this problem. You have heard me rant before. This is the only arena that we have been in that doesn't enforce or understand the rule. Some arenas even block off the entrances to the rows. Bottom line.....the management of our venue doesn't understand hockey. We moved to another section and it was a little better.
Doesn't counting teeth and Johnstown already go hand in hand? If they stay in that town too long they will be rotted like the rest. I wouldn't mind helping them out further either.
Anybody notice Sgroi giving Max an ear full during warm-ups? He was very animated and at one point looked like he was going to throw a punch.

ooh please as soon as i saw that crap i started chewing out sgroi and walk over to the opening where johnstown comes out and was yelling my @$$ off at sgroi until security told us to leave...good times man...good times :D
