Reading had less than 100 more in attendance than we did tonite-they probably saw our figure and bumped their number to beat us!
Only Alaska, Reading and Victoria are ahead of us of the 16 or 17 teams which have had a home game in the playoffs. The Cyclones evidently did a very good job on getting the word out. Since we have home-ice throughout the playoffs, the Cyclones could have enough time to aggressively promote the first 2 games of each series. If the Reds are out of town when we play, then I would expect weekend attendance to keep rising with each round.
We're averaging 4162. Dayton had all of 600, perhaps 700 (actual-their 1581 announced was absolute Horse S***) for their ONE game. Had to get that in. |

From the Enquirer...
The largest crowd in Cyclones playoff history, 4,847, turned out for the game.
The two-game total of 8,323 was the highest in a North/Northern Division semifinal playoff series in the ECHL since 1999, when 9,342 turned out for the opening games of the Richmond at Hampton Roads series.
It was also the biggest crowd to see a playoff game in a North Division building since Game 4 of the 2005 Kelly Cup finals when 7,126 turned out in Trenton. |

| I wonder what kind of attendance we will draw during the weekdays and when the Red are playing when the parking is higher? |

Little tidbit from Saturday's game.Ken Broo was sitting in the stands over in section 126 with some other people. I hope the good game and good crowd will help get his crowd to give us the coverage WE DESERVE !It's been great reading about us in the paper for a change. |
