Screw Monday games, i've got 3 weeks of school left to finish another degree and that's the only night I have to go to campus. If it would have been a Monday after May 5th, it would have been fine. Luckily it's highly unlikely the next series goes 7, so maybe i'll only have to miss one game.
Honestly makes it a little easier for me to travel to the Away games... I know we are heading to either Elmira or Reading for the Saturday game. but if it was during the week there would be no way i could go...
we just got home from Johnstown about 445 this morning...
Well, Elmira is roughly 9 hours away and Reading is 8, so either one is a bit of a haul. I may wait until we get to the conference finals and get a flight to where-ever if there's a weekend series.
I'm still really hoping Vegas makes it to the championship, i'm rooting for them hard. That'd be an awesome trip out west for a few games.
Agreed! it would be a nice trip. but taking a flight usually ain't in my Expenses! hehe Ill drive 10 hours to watch them on the weekends only cost me 35 bucks to fill my tank. and away i go. flying on the other hand is just a little too expensive for me... But i may have to fork it over if it comes down to it!
Why should Reading/Elmira make a difference? The Thursday/Friday dates are for OUR home game.Even if a Reds game we should have a better crowd Friday than Thursday. Typical for this year-we started out losing Opening might to the UFC and now we lose first playoff games in series to Elmo. I guess the next round will be delayed for a "holy-rollers" convention!
This SUCKS! I'm going to have to work during this round too. The only game I can make it to is game 7 and it won't make it that far. Elmo and Big Bird can kiss my white ASS!!!
