| Take the time to send a short email at the very least to each author and just let them know that we appreciate the coverage as fans and would really enjoy seeing more of it. It would go a long way if they even got 10 emails from people on here telling them that. It'll take under 2 minutes, and is worth it. |

 RANT WARNING
OK, I'm glad that there has been some good press out there lately but something that you all really need to grasp onto here is that LATE is better than NEVER!
All the hockey fans in this town complain constantly about NOT having any coverage, then when you get it, you complain that it's '6 months late' I'm a HUGE fan of the game- not just the Cyclones- of the game. If you want this game to succeed in this town, you have to do your part as well.
Buy your tickets
Cheer for YOUR team
BE NICE TO PEOPLE THAT ARE NEW TO THE GAME!!! (I can't tell you how many people I hear that complain that Cyclones fans are rude to them at games)
Just because someone doesn't know what OFFSIDES IS, that does not make them 'Charles Barkley' http://www.youtube.com/v/XwParJoeQkc&hl=en
and most of all, show people that the Cyclones fans are the best in the ECHL! Treat SC fans with RESPECT...sure...ride them about how their team sucks...but remember...when they give it back to you don't fight with them like with the Toledo fans in the past. 
I made my final post on another hockey message board in town because of people constantly putting down the Cyclones organization and other members of the board. I hope that you all don't take this to harshly, I just think that instead of having a BF, you should thank the people for their coverage- and don't give them Backhanded compliments such as NICE PRESS, it's about time.
The media in this city isn't going to cover a team that only 2,000 people go to see- so- consider the press that they are getting right now a God send.
All that being said, I know from personal experience that EVERYONE on this board who attends the games wants the Cyclones to do well, and succeed. So, to a certain extent, I'm preaching to the choir but PLEASE when there are 10,000 people there tonight *I HOPE* do your best to welcome them with open arms and include them...if they don't understand a rule, explain it to them, if they are saying a bunch of crap that isn't true--- it's okay to tell them POLITELY that they are incorrect. *kind of like I'm sure my spelling and grammar may be throughout my RANT!
You all truly are the best fans in hockey...and I've been to games all over this country and our neighbor to the North. The passion that each of you shows for this team rivals that of the RedWings, now if we could just get the rest of the city to feel the same way about the team. 
OK- RANT OVER- see you all tonight and please know that I love each and every one of you... I'm just tired of the negativity that people talk about when they talk about 'Cyclones Fans'
