| HELL YEAH!!! The boys are back!!! What a performance by everyone. J-M looked like himself, DD was, well, DD. The D was strong. Great fore-checking tonight. Short-handed opportunities. You name it! I missed the end because I left early to get the kids out. Who won the fight and why did Chad start it with Rory? He had a beef with 18-Pinizzoto all night. |

Chuck said on the news tonight that the guys really need to play all 60 minutes and not 40. So to him he saw the guys lacking.
But to me, I saw the guys playing the way I remember all year. |

| Pinnizzoto needs to be put in his place tomorrow night. Even playing another 40 minute game we win in a blowout. I'd love to see what would happen if we ever played a full 60 minutes. If South Carolina doesn't make some major adjustments I don't see this going more than 5 games. |

| Call me stupid or crazy, maybe even selfish, but I hope it goes to 6 games so we can celebrate at home. If we were to clinch it on the road, I hope we are all together (Sports Plus) or somewhere so we can party together!! |

I agree with Heckler... In this case if they went six I wouldnt mind the least... that way I can be there in game six when it all comes crashing down on South Carolina!
But, if they sweep or win it in five, six or seven it will be all the sweeter... Tonight was the big step!

Great effort tonight. As HFH so aptly put it, DD was DD. The McElroy goal was amazing. DD must have had the puck for 15 seconds-while getting mugged and his helmet ripped off-and made a beautiful feed to TJ who buried it. Beauregards's goal was a pure goal scorer's goal. He drove hard to the net with the puck and how the hell he got it in is a testament to his sniping ability.
Two great games in a row. I'll be very content to have the Clones sweep. I'll wait for a closeout home victory in the finals.
Cocky. You bet. |

| What's the official rule, I'm hearing that Starling might have to sit one Game for his penalties in the third |

Instigating in the last 5 minutes usually means a one game suspension.
I would assume that if Chad sits, then Nate Kiser will get something for being pretty physical with a linesman.
Swanson will be a very able fill in for Chad if he gets the one game boot. |

| Tonight's game was AWESOME!! The OFFICIALS WERE AT THAT THEIR WORST!!!! After the penalty shot the boys were pissed off and ready to show S.C. Stingrays what Cincinnati CYCLONES are all about. I was also disappointed in the fans that threw the garbage on the ice. Does not represent Cincinnati. Let's win this in 4! |
Let's GO CYCLONES! and Blue Jackets! and Miami RedHawks! |

Ton of "bandwagon" fans in the stands. Hope is 1 of 5 will turn into Clone fans. Very sad to see the garbage on the ice but our section (126) we had some real goofs who the ushers did a good job of trying to let them have their fun. Maybe they could have been more agressive(ushers) but glad they tried to let people enjoy the game. Strange to see Cyclones seem to be more physical team, but we better not let that go to our heads. South Carolina coach made one HUGE mistake. When the steamroller got started with about 2 minutes left in 2nd,he should have called timeout and stopped our momentum. Instead we got the 5th goal and the game was over.Turning point of the game was the penalty shot. Our boys woke up and let them have it.Off to Vegas, will "scout out" Utah and Las Vegas for the finals !! |

Simply awesome game! I just think it took the team awhile to "re-gell" after having JM et al come back for the playoffs. Looks like they have hit done it and then some! Reminds me of the team that won 17 in a row.
Tonight's game ought to be just as good, but maybe tougher. SC looked pretty humiliated and pissed walking back down the runway to their locker room after the game.
I hope they let Chad play. He contributes more to the team than a lot of people I think realize.
Speaking of new faces in the crowd, there was a guy from Mexico (a Contractor) at the game. This was his last night in Cincinnati before heading back to Mexico and his first hockey game ever. He was mightily impressed, especially with Desjardins. His quote" "This is a really good team!" Damn straight. |

I was happy we put the puck into the net right after their penalty shot goal. I had a fear that if we didn't do that, we'd drop a couple more quick goals, and would have trouble climbing out of the hole.
Instead, we get the second...then third, fourth, and fifth goals, and everything just went our way after that. I have to give South Carolina credit, that they didn't go the route that our opponents usually go and come out punching in the third. They actually tried to play comeback hockey, and that's refreshing in this league.
And yes, it was bizarre seeing the Cyclones be the physical team. This game almost didn't feel like an ECHL game. |

The whole throwing crap on the ice fiasco made me pretty upset. This sport isn't meant to have that happen and I don't care if you're on the bandwagon or not, its called respect. I don't think people realize that the team can be penalized/fined for those actions, and quite frankly they probably don't care.
Anyway, tonight should be just as fun. Went up to the box office at noon sharp and got my tix for tonight and the lady at the window said they've been selling really big groups all day so far. |

| The idiots who threw stuff on the ice probably were not hockey fans. Just some young jackasses who couldn't handle their beer. The bad thing is because of their actions it gives Cincinnati a bad name. But hey, on a brighter note, I just can't see us losing if we play like we have the past two games. |
