Beggars can't be choosers and I'm obviously grateful for the cover stories the past two days, but I can't help but find it fairly disappointing that to cap off that great weekend of coverage, one of the most exciting games in Cyclones history in front of another great crowd is pushed back to almost the 10th page. But, the Reds salved to split a double header, woo hoo!
Also, what is up with the three pictures? One is the Stingrays celebrating a goal, another is one pokechecking a puck away from Daoust, and the other is Aubin getting taken down. Don't get me wrong, the fact that they are even adding pictures is great, but THAT'S the best they could do? |

| I'm glad it made your papers....when I got to work at 5:30 Sunday morning, the only thing I could find in the sports section was where the box scores were and all it said was "late" ..didnt even have the score!! So after constantly yelling for 2 1/2 hrs and then taking 2 hours to calm down I was so excited about the win, and getting 3 hrs of sleep if that, I was sort of depressed it wasnt in my paper..but I'm glad to see it now!!! I'm surprised I wasnt hoarse Sunday morning at work!! What a game!! What a psychological killer for those Stingrays. Wonder if the SanJose Sharks got upset the Stingrays' logo mimics theirs? |
