I understand that our computer guru, JEvers, is going to be in Las Vegas with the team. I don't believe that Sluggers Bar (used to be Half Time Bar/Grill) has a computer that can access the B2 network. If any of you that aren't going knows how to do it, should we plan a "party" for Friday night? If so, please post it here. I could then call the bar to let them know. I was asked on Saturday night if we were going to come back & I told them I'd let them know.
Thanks! |

| I have a computer but no A/V cords to hook up the TV. I don't have NHL network. Does The Bar at Sports Plus have it? |

Yeah, when NHL network had the ECHL and AHL games of the week in the regular season, they were delayed games from a week or so before that. I would kind of be surprised if they broadcast the finals live, however I hope I'm wrong. ECHL should post an article about the status of the games being on NHL network sometime this week before the series starts.
I am currently figuring out if I will be in Las Vegas for Games 4 & 5. If not, I have a laptop that I would bring to wherever for the party, but, like HFH, no cords to project it or hook up to a TV. |

I am in the exact same boat. I will know if I am going to Vegas or not after this weekends game, and if I do not end up going I would be more than happy to bring my laptop along. However, I do not have the cords either. |

What type of setup do they have at Sports Plus? I might be able to help
edit - I should point out that I lack a laptop, but should have the cords. |

It all depends on how your Notebook outputs it's video. Some have an S-Video Out port, which means you would need an S-Video cable to hook between the Notebook and TV. Then plug in a mini-jack-TO-RCA (left/right) audio cable from the Notebook's "headphone" or Audio Out port to the TV's audio in.
However, some Notebooks need a "special" cable to output the Video/Audio. (This is my case... My Notebook uses a mini-jack-TO-Video/Audio Left/Right cable. (Which took me forever to find! Had to go to the Sony store to find one)
Another way is to buy one of those VGA-to-TV boxes... It allows you to hook up your VGA-out port to a box that has RCA/S-Video connections which you would run to the TV.
Hopefully this wasn't TOO far over everyones heads!

| Susan, I tried hooking my computer up to my t.v. and had no success. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I use my laptop with my tv at home to watch the away games. It has both s-video out and a composite adapter so it would almost certainly work with any tv. If as a last resort you guys need someone to provide a video feed to the game please let me know... as I plan on watching it from home...

| Yeah, I now can't make it. I'm moving this weekend, and the only day that I'll have help with the heavy stuff is going to be Thursday night. |

To those of us that AREN'T going to Vegas, who wants to get together on Friday night to watch the game at Sluggers if Packmunkey & the bar will agree to do this for us? I know that I would be there, along with my husband and at least 2 others. I'm guessing we should probably aim to have at least 10 to make it worth our while, & theirs too. Who's in with me?
