I am probably going to experience some flak from everyone regaring what I am going to say, but I don't care anymore, because I need to get some stuff off my chest. Please do not take anything I am about to say personally, as I AM NOT ATTACKING ANYBODY. I am putting this on the message board because I want to get along and celebrate our soon to be acquisition of the Kelly Cup with the wildest bunch of hockey fans Ohio has ever had. And I want to because you guys have the same die-hard devotion to the Cyclones that I do. I have made Cyclones hockey the focal point of my winters since I attended my first game in 1994 (November 28 to be exact, a 4-3 shootout IHL win over the Kalamazoo Wings; yes I remember that day very well).
Before I do that I must clarify some things to you.

I am glad you asked me that because I wanted to say some things about it for a long time.
I am that individual, but I must clarify some stuff to you. I keep the score of the game for my personal benefit so I know who to blame if we get our butts kicked. It allows me to be able to have some evidence to rant on the board and keep my stories straight lol... I have no idea why I was christened C-Man, but I have always thought of it as a good nickname because I do tend to go crazy when our boys screw up... and when we do awesome... because I have been a Clones fanatic since the Gardens days, and all they do is quintessential to their efforts to bring the Kelly Cup home, something I have been dying to see all that time.
I have to warn everyine that I consider the C in C-Man to stand for either "Cyclones" or "Crazy". If you intend to keep calling me that for any derogatory reason, I suggest you find me another nick name, or don't even use it at all. My real name is Rob, you COULD use it too. Back in the IHL heyday, I had an AOL screen name "Cyclone Rob". Perhaps that could be an alternate name LOL.
This links with this guy's second question. The answer is yes. Those two guys and I have a verbal exchange of SHUT UPs... which I really dont know how that started, but ah well. However, sometimes they start getting wasted and take stuff too far. When they are sober I am alright with exchanging SHUT UPs with them because in my heart of hearts I know they are just messing around. However, In game three of the Reading series they started blaming me for our boys' off day and tried to pick a fight with me by saying some very uncomfortable things and THAT is what I get really mad at them about because I do not appreciate when stuff gets personal.
In high school, I was bullied and thought differently of because stuff came out about private family matters and classmates used it as a scapegoat to lable me as different. It got worse February 26, 1999, when in that day alone two of the most crushing things that have ever happened in my life happened. One, I was diagnosed with Lymphoma (which I eventually kicked the hell out of), and two, my aunt and uncle and cousin were all killed in the same car by a drunk driver. The morons that had to go to school with on a daily basis used this, and my eventualy bald-ass skull, to make my life a daily hell... much so that I nearly gave up and stopped my chemo. I wanted to die, so I almost gave up. Plus, During the guy's trial, he was belligerant and said that he wasn't sorry because he enjoyed drinking.
Not to mention that my family includes drunks and past-drunks. This includes me. I started drinking, and it led to me pretty much alienating everyone that's ever loved me. I was really embarrassed by my behavior a few months ago when I sat with you all and got completely trashed. It reminded me of my grandfather, who would get drunk and say a lot of horrible things to my grandmother and mom. Plus, my uncle is a borderline alcoholic himself and the night before game three of the Reading series, he showed up at the house drunk and punched my mother in the face during an argument. That is why I can not stand it when people are cool when they are sober and complete dickwads when they are drunk, AND why people are jerks to me in general. I did not appreciate when both took place during the Reading series. When I get pissed at anone, it is probably for a damn good reason.
Now that I brought this out, I ask if you blame me now for going postal when somebody gets hammered and starts making it personal? I am there to enjoy a hockey game with you guys, and I have really gotten to like everyone. But I have a thick skin about stuff for a damn good reason.
You all do not have to kiss my ass, but all I ask of you guys is that, sober or not, you all treated me with the same respect you would give AND want yourselves; the same respect I give you guys. If I have done or said anything that makes you hate me or think badly of me, I am beyond sorry. I admit it, sometimes I can be a punk myself. But stupid stuff like that just destroys a good time at the hockey game for me. I was enjoying my time with S60 thoroughly before this, and please do not placate me and tell me you are just messing if you are only going to do it again the next time we meet up. If you are just messing with me, know that a few things can offend me majorly and cease making me the target of jokes.
Like I said, I don't care anymore. I just wanted to get this out so we can enjoy the Kelly Cup Finals all together, because that is why I sit with you guys to begin with. Please do not take this the wrong way. My opinions matter too. There are things about my personal life that if you try to attack me for them, or make stuff up, the day is ruined for me. Please understand that.

That was probably me, i've been sitting over there with some friends this season. Don't blame me for hearing the word "idiot" every 10 seconds though, someone needs a thesaurus in the worst way, as it's the only word that this person seems to know. |

| I tend to go along with whoever it is razzing me to the point of taking things to the next level. Whatever it is they say, I make it more gross and lay it on thicker to the point, they look at me and say I'm a freak. I thank them and off they go. Works almost everytime. |

| Come to section 112 where you can sit next to opposing team's fans. You can tell them to shut up all you want!!! LOL... Especially those irritating Dayton Bummers fans or those ladies fm Reading who could have played tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles. It was good to spill the guts, Rob...shows you're human....we all fall short of the glory . .. .life goes on....gotta do the best we can. . . . ..I had to see the pictures of when that dui struck the bicyclists on Newhaven Rd @2 years ago in July I believe...bodies in 3 different pieces...wasnt pretty...and I havent been on my bike since...so we all have issues to deal with in this valley of tears but when we see Cyclones Hockey, we can put all of them behind us and scream for 2.5 hours straight until we snag that Kelly Cup!! |

Why would you say that? would you rather her drop the F bomb? PPL get into the game differently then others and for her to yell "idiot" is a lot better then dropping the F bomb or cures words all the time like I have heard b4 from others.(yes this lady who yells 'Idiot" is my wife and we have been coming to the games for over 10 years now.so if you don't like it move back to your old section.and she doesn't yell it every 10 seconds it just when they should have got a goal or a player is out of position. |
