| Sure, it will most likely attract more fans near Dayton, but what about Cincinnati? What about the casual fan that, now, would attend a 'Clones game? If it were me, and this was baseball, I'd much rather see the Louisville Bats play, as opposed to the Chattanooga Lookouts. Would the "casual fan", as I said, look at it this way? That they would rather see players who are closer to playing at the NHL level? |

| I don't think it would hurt the fan base in Cincinnati at all. Not sure how many people are willing to spend the money for gas to see an AHL team. But I don't see Cyclones losing their fan base unless it's the fans that only show up when they are winning. |

Lacking what? 2008-2009 will be the 18th consecutive year Dayton will field an ECHL team - second only to Johnstown. Out of those 18 years, the B-o-m-b-e-r-s made the playoffs 14 years and played in the cup finals twice. Doesn't sound like much is lacking up here. |

How many of those Finals appearances did they manage not to get embarrassed in?
Oh, right. |

Oh, right.

Lost, yes. Embarrassed, no. Especially last year, when NOBODY had the B-o-m-b-e-r-s making it past Cincinnati in the second round. I recall we were down 3-1 in that series. How'd that turn out? Greenville had some AHL send-downs that were key in their cup finals victory in 2002. They were the superior team and it showed - congrats to them.
That's one more finals series than the Cyclones have been in. And you haven't won the KC yet, either. LV can play puck control on Cincy - don't get too cocky yet. You've been shut out twice and won the first game thanks to a lot of penalty calls on LV in the first period.
In spite of your adolescent remarks, I wish the Cyclones luck and am rooting for them to win it in 7. |

Even though Cincinnati isn't on this list yet! We already have 1 more win than Dayton the two time they were in the Kelly Cup.. We'll start trash talking about Dayton/Cincinnati after the Kelly Cup. See if Cincinnati can pull it off |

You're an impressive what, 1-8 in the Finals? That's pretty damned embarrassing there, champ. I will give you credit though, managing to lose 8 out of the 9 Finals games that you've played in _is_ impressive, though. Maybe had you tried just a little harder you could have pulled the perfect 0-8, but not quite. And just to appeal to your obvious strength in math, the Cyclones have been there only one less time than your beloved Bummers who have been in the league how many years more than Cincinnati? That 3-2 Finals record so far is two wins better than your 1-8 and soon to be three better. The comeback to win from down 3-1 last year (emphasis on LAST year) is highly forgettable at this point considering what you managed to do from there. And Dayton was certainly the heavy favorite going into the series, hence the home ice advantage, so it wasn't entirely shocking. What about this year?
Oh sorry, there goes logic kicking in again. Hopefully you can make it down here for the hoisting of the Kelly Cup in Ohio; though this time it'll actually be the team from Ohio hoisting it, which will be much better than years past. |

Won't be down for games 6 or 7. Already used up my one game per series quota on Cincinnati. Cyclones not worth the time and gas for two games in a series. I'm still predicting CIN in 7.
Congrats if you do win it. It'll be nice to see the cup in OH. If you don't, I'll enjoy putting Tears of a Clown at the top of my playlist for another summer. I win both ways. |
