I must clarify something for everyone.
Last night I said that a few Las Vegas fans were throwing garbage at my truck.... the same car that went through hell to make it to the arena from the airport last night in the first place. Then, I made Las Vegas sound like monsters.
My bad, Vegas fans.... You guys are cool and you were well behaved. You DO have though a few rouge Vegas fans who thought they were awesome because their AA Minor league hockey team was, in their eyes, the greatest team in the universe. Now, I feel that way about our Cyclones, obviously, but I wouldn't drive next to an opposing team's fan and throw Pepsi bottles and food wrappers at ANY car! I was just so angry that there were a few rouge Las Vegas fans were being stupid.
Their actions were stupid enough that I had to call the insurance company this morning to discuss the left tailight that they broke! I fixed it this morning, but it should never have been broken in the first place. DAMMIT if only I caught them! They drove off before I could even read a plate.
So that is my explanation.... my bad if you feel as though I hate Vegas fans in total.... and this leads to my clarification... As I was rounding the arena to get back to my truck, I heard five or six Wranglers fans screaming like banshees acting like they won the cup already.
On the other hand, I heard three of them telling each other how they loved their trip here.... Cincinnati, folks, is NOT a bad city... we just have jackass public transportation (if Cincinnati really wanted a train system, they could have done it years ago, our local government are too much of misers!)
This concludes my explanation. Cincinnati Cyclones fans may act like games are an extension of church service, but last night we sorted out the ones who want to cause trouble. Some people just don't have class, and both sides had those people last night (the ten or so beer bottle chucking Cincinnati fans, and the three or four vehicle damaging Las Vegas fans.
But, my tail light is now fixed and I can barely notice a dent on the drivers side door anyways. I guess I was just too livid. But a good night's sleep later, I am ready to move on and focus on Game three Thursday night. Lets all move on and get back in this series.
And to those Cincinnati fans who threw beer bottles.... just look at the fact that Section 60, who people say are the least rule abiding people the Cyclones fan base has, NOT ONCE PICKED UP A BEER BOTTLE AND NOT ONCE THREW ANYTHING (it never would have landed on the ice anyway thanks to the end netting)... so if there is a game six, and you come back, leave the bottles at home.... and if not, dont even show. When you threw the bottles, you showed your own internal disgrace, and those people can put lipstick on and smooch on the two lumps known as my large white ass!
