As everyone knows by now,my wife and I love to go out to Lost Wages or more
commonly known Las Vegas,so if anyone else has gone out there and has ideas
for fans making the trip to do ,lets here it.
First off,warning to all going.If someone tells you things are cheap in Las
Vegas-they haven't been there in 5 years.Go to a Subway in the casino and
your favorite 6" sub will cost you $6.99. Go to a bar in the casino and a
Bud or Miller will cost you $6.Go to a buffet on the strip and dinner can
run you $19. That said,I would be with you if only we had gone out three weeks
earlier! Just remember,the Orleans has a great pool,use AT LEAST 30spf suntan
lotion or you will fry, get lip balm with spf protection and use it and finally,
drink tons of water when outside.
Saturday idea.At noon (this group will be dragging all morning after the Friday
game) take the shuttle out to the strip and see the half of the strip from Flamingo
down to the Stratoshere. By the way,one block from Stratosphere is the street
named Cincinnati (if you don't believe me check the map)! On Sunday do the same
but go from Flamingo up to Mandalay Bay. Have a great time and bring us back a
cup (or at least a lead of 3-2). |
