Seems to be shaping up to be like the Reading series, I would feel the next game is must win for either team. I heard only bits and pieces of the game but overheard Hammer mention that the effort was there by the Clones however the times I heard the game it was pretty much a lacluster effort by our boys. Can anyone substantiate this.
I felt that we cannot continue to play from behind, and we were on our heels pretty much from the drop of the puck. Transition game needs a tune up, from the little I heard. Almost as though we were playing half rink rules

From the bits and pieces you heard...........you pretty much described the game as I was told from a good friend who IS there. She also said that our Cyclones could not connect on passes, had a hard time controlling the puck, was stripped of the puck easily and and of getting the puck out of our own end.

Hopefully two days rest and a 'little talking to' by our coach will wake the boys up. Can't let Vegas take the lead in games, for home ice advantage does not really seem to be a real advantage (for either team).

LET'S GO CYCLONES............BRING THE CUP HOME TO CINCINNATI!!!!!

On Lance McCallister's show yesterday evening, coach Weber talked about the hardship of back-
to-back games are. Maybe our "kids" putting everything into the first game hurts for game two
where their "veterans" know how to pace themselves a little better.Monday's game is more
critical for us because even on home ice, beating Las Vegas two straight will be difficult.
Let's get Monday night and get us some breathing room for the last two here.

I don't see either team winning back to back games. From what i've seen, they're mirror images of eachother. The two teams are so rediculously even matched that 7 games is almost already a given.

Just food for thought, we won games 1 & 3, LV won games 2 & 4. So, we win all the odd games, we take them in # 7? What's your thoughts?

What if any adjustments?, last nights game although disappointing, is it a big deal? are we even close to a Goaltender change? I have to remember that the LV team had something to play for because they had a player returning from some type of controversial injury and the whole team wanted to play better. I admit I have not been able to listen much is LV goals against related to goaltender problems or breakdowns up front? lastly Does irish-baker have anything to contribute now off the IR...I think hrc666 was in favor of playing Maki but he is now on IR?........I was almost lulled into sleep last night by some of our offensive attempts, and I'm not certain how long Luck can play along side the LV goaltender. Unless he has made the same deal with the devil that dominick hasak has

The only thing about goaltending for us would be the fact that we have 2 capable goalies on our side that have both shown they can be effective starters. I think Lalande is going to eventually get tired from playing almost every game of the playoffs where we've had Ceddy and MAx switch off.

Also when I was watching the webcam of yesterday's morning skate, Max was the only goalie there, no sign of Ceddy at all.

Not giving them excuses, but when I have been out west it takes a two days for the time change to effect me. The first day out there I would be fine, and the next day I would be dead. I think the adrenaline of playing Thursday night helped them, but last night they were dragging ass all the way around. Monday we must get back to business.

The second night out west is tough. The second away game in two nights is tough. Having a former teammate die in an accident is tough (Luc Bourdon was a teammate of Olivier Latendresse for two years in the QMJHL).

I don't think anyone thought this series would be a sweep except our bottle throwing bandwagoners. We had off night and thats okay. Lalande can't stay as hot as he has been and we can't stay as cold as we have in the scoring department.

Chuck will have the boys ready for Monday and WE WILL be ready when the series ends at USBA with the home team hoisting the cup.
