| unfortunately no...just saying its hopefully the crowning moment for all those years watching the clones. I just think its awesome section 60 has survived all this time...I remember as a 14-15 year old my mom would give me a 20 spot every weekend which I would go to the game get my cyclones player pin to put on my hat my ticket and wings and our whole hockey team would sit as close to 60 as possible and we'd tear up phonebooks to make confetti every time the clones scored...also we steal the huge rolls of tp and try and stretch them around the entire arena...then after the game we raid the opponents locker room for grip tape broken sticks anything we could find...sorry for rambling but Im just really pumped for tomorrow and this is bringing back old memories |

| Wow...They're already have sec. 138 and correspnding sections across the ice half-way gone. I would imagine quite a few people are now buying upper level seats. This is looking like it could eclipse 9,000. I've never seen the lower bowl almost full this long before a playoff game. |

| I went down to pick mine up today. There was a steady flow up to the ticket windows and as a added bonus our guys were finishing up practicing! According to my rep less than 2000 tix remain in the lower bowl. With the same walk up crowd that we've had it may be the biggest crowd yet. |

| Clawd, that red head is a hot one. She gets my son's attention everytime. |
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

| Who cares about per-game? We're about to pass 'em up in total attendance. Anyway...THE LOWER BOWL IS ALMOST SOLD OUT. My estimation is that we will have 9,000 plus for tomorrow night. |

Did anyone happen to listen to Bill Cunningham on WLW today? He was briefly speculating with Seg Dennison about what the attendance would be for the game tomorrow. Seg guessed 6 or 7 thousand, to which Cunningham replied "Isn't that bad for a title clincher?"
Now, I probably shouldn't get so upset about this, considering the source, but what does that loudmouth want? And just how much knowledge does he have about minor league hockey attendance? Apparently not too much. 6 or 7K would be a pretty good crowd, by ECHL standards but if what I'm seeing in this thread is correct, then we'll be far beyond "pretty good" tomorrow night. But something tells me that even 9K+ wouldn't be good enough for some in the media..
Sorry for ranting, but that just irked me a little bit when I heard that today. |

| Why would you listen to Bill Cunningham? Seriously, do you just need a dose of ignorance, hatred, and stupidity in your day? That's the only reason that I could imagine to even turn on an AM radio, other than comic relief at how amazingly awful it is. |

Cunningham is a buffoon. I heard him too. Yeah 6 or 7 thousand would be bad for a top level pro team, but considering this is AA hockey in a town that until recently had forgotten about hockey, these are obviously great numbers! I wouldn't be surprised if there were 9 to 10 thousand by tomorrow night.

I don't take him seriously, but I do find him to be entertaining at times. Oh well, to each his/her own

Bill Cunningham did exactly what he wanted-he made you mad.On 9-11 he was reporting that the pipelines were shut down and gas would be scarce. The result was everyone scrambled for gas and some stations jacked prices up for extra profit. Why we even allow him near the arena let alone his horrible Star Spangle Banner that time. When we win,he will be running around with a Cyclone jersey telling everyone he has always been behind us.Then next year it will be back to normal bashing us.Personal opinion-rot in hell Bill Cunningham. |

| He's just another loud-mouthed, know-nothing bigot, just like the rest of the AM radio trash - Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reilly, the whole lot of them. It's pathetic that they even have shows and that people listen to them (and even worse, actually call in). |

Yeah, you're probably right about that. I shouldn't let him get to me, especially since I know that's his game.. |

People who don't follow this league do not understand the attendance patterns involved. The playoffs are funny because while they are the most important games, the time available to promote the games and sell tickets is often very limited.
Now, personally I would be a bit let down if there is anything less than 7,000. However, since the lower bowl itself holds about 6,500 and it is very close to being gone, my attendance estimation is closer to 9,000 than it is to 7,000. By tomorrow afternoon, there will be no lower bowl seats available.
Obviously, it would help if the game was on Friday, but it looks like ticket sales have been very steady anyway. |

I don't blame you JK because I fall in their traps all the time. When times were lean,NONE of these radio guys gave us the time of day.Now like some of these jerk bandwagon fans, suddenly they all know where US Bank Arena is. Back to the original topic,I don't know if management can sell upper bowl seats or just as Standing Room Only and seats are first come first serve.I got row U in 123, but I also was looking for three seats at a row end.My guess is bottom is 90% sold out and if you don't have tickets-give them a call or we might even have a crazier sight-SCALPERS !!!!! |
