I'll jump in here since I'm new, if you don't mind, Tom (I'm a fellow Tom).

My dad was a hockey fan. We skated around on our pond hitting the puck and went down to Stingers and Swords games on occasion. I'm a casual fan, go to a game here and there and try to keep up on what is going on. Been going to games since they started in the Gardens where it was packed, rowdy, and loud. Was annoyed at the Gardens for bringing in the ducks and more annoyed when the IHL folded. I was very happy to see the Cyclones come back and am even happier that my son enjoys the games. Now, I'm caught up in all the excitement over the playoffs.

I wil be there tonight cheering with everyone.

I thought I was the only one whose primary sports are hockey and NASCAR. What better place to live for these two than Cincinnati - right smack dab in the middle of the two where neither are really that popular.

Unless you're Fred Flintstone, driving a car isn't a sport and doesn't make a driver an athlete, sorry. Neither does sitting on a horse and beating it, for that matter.

Love to see you exercise a few horses in the morning. Nah, make that ride in a full field of 12.

I'd have more laughs than I did than I watched Dayton play. Until I'd watch them put you in the body bag.

P.S. This isn't a political board. It's a hockey board. Goof.

Hey Frodo, how about I jump onto your back and beat you for a mile or two? Sound peachy?
