I'm not familiar with the area, what's my best way to get there?

From the arena, go up to 4th street, take a left, go about 6 blocks, take a right on Elm, go up 1 block to 5th, take a right and you will see Fountain Square. Find a place to park and join the fun!!

Thanks HFH, is there parking around?

Fountain Square has a parking garage just underneath. Or the Westin has a garage too-just across the street. Parking is cheap at both locations on the weekend.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Has anyone heard a change of plans due to the rain?

I had a lot of fun down there too. I got a Championship shirt and hat, the ceremony was cool. I got 8 signatures on my Jersey: Coach Weber, Chad Starling, Ryan Maki, Jimmy Bonneau, Conrad Martin, J.M. Daoust, Sean Perkins and T.J. McElroy. I wish I could have gotten more, but the meet and greet was far too short.

The line of the day goes to J.M. Daoust as he was signing the front of my jersey, I told him he could sign it anywhere and he asked me: "Would you like me to sign your nipple?" If I were a girl, I probably would have thought he was a creep, but since I'm not, I thought this was a pretty damn funny line.

What a great day. Thanks Cyclones!!

Are you sure? Because I parked at a meter today without paying and so did everyone at the meters in front and behind me.

I had a great time today at the Square! It was good to see such an awesome turn out for the boys. It was good to see all of you there!

Last night, my boyfriend Chris printed out a bunch of pictures he had taken at Game 2 of the Las Vegas series. They were nice because they were taken with the digital SLR camera and printed out to be 8"x10". I got Max, Olivier, Chico, Conrad, Aubin, Deitsch, Ceddy, JM and Jon Gleed. They all liked the pics and made comments on how good the pictures were. That made me happy. I'll definitely be doing that again next season.

Matt Aubin really liked his because I printed one of him arguing with one of the Las Vegas guys, really up in his face and the linesmen getting in between. Even Jay liked his even though it was just him during practice passing out pucks. LOL

Anyway, I loved the presentation today, the atmosphere, the energy from the fans, the guys talking and of course getting to watch the last bit of the game from Thursday. And although it's setting in that we have no hockey for 133 days, I'm beginning to be okay with it. I'm calling this week to get my season tickets for next year... LOL

What you do today can change the course of your life far into the future. Today is critical. Today really counts.

It really was a great experience. I kind of wish that maybe we can get a more intimate experience with the team, like Cad Ranch prolly was for those of us who couldn't make it.

Yes, it was a fun experience getting to see the players and fans one last time. I talked to Dean Stork and asked them if they were going to take a little time off and he said no. He and Coach Weber are going to start recruiting for next season starting Monday. He said (and I expected ) that the majority of this team will not be back next season (by singing with higher level teams) and the other teams in the league had a head start on recruiting.

My wife, unfortunately, couldn't make it yesterday because she had to work. When the players came down to meet and greet, I went to Chad Starling and handed him my cell phone. I had called my wife at work and she got to talk to Chad. He is her favorite player.

Lisa, I saw those pictures...they were really good. And I don't have to call my ticket rep for next season. Already did that towards the end of the regular season.
