So, following the N's lead, the A and the E are putting netting in the endzones. Since this is where a majority of the fans on here sit, what do you think?
You can probably guess my opinion from the subject.

As long as they don't hurt the view, I don't really care too much. It does screw up chuck a puck and getting the occasional game puck though. I know I have been hit a couple times and was paying attention. Sometimes you just have to take one for the team.

Worst idea ever. I hope this crashes and burns in less than a season, there aren't enough words to describe how pissed off even thinking about this makes me. It's PR garbage from the NHL and idiot commissioner's office because of one fan's death and numerous other injuries, the majority of which coming because people weren't watching the damned game in the first place, with the exception of a few flukes such as the girl in Columbus getting hit. I honestly hope the NHL suffers attendencewise this year because of it and that fans all over make it known how awful the idea was from the start. I've never been looking less forward to a hockey season than this one, even with the great job the team has done so far in putting together a winning promotional schedule.

Just think what this could spark...
-- Nets around the Baseball field to protect fans from those line drives!
-- Nets around each hole at the Golf courses to protect the spectators from those occational miss-hit golf balls!
-- Nets at the Football games to protect the players from beer bottles!
