Thanks to Jim Evers for putting together and maintaining such an awesome website. I started out at the season opener as a casual fan (my boyfriend was the hockey fan), grew to love the game and now consider myself a true fan of the game... and of the Cyclones or course! This website certainly helped in doing that and is a great way to meet other fans. This website ROCKS and is tons better than the Cyclones own website. Keep up the great work and see you all next season!

What you might have already figured out is that this sport grabs you and doesn't let go, Hockey would be alot more popular everywhere if folks would just give it a chance. I think it is the ultimate "in person" spectator sport. My wife took me to my first hockey game back in 1992. Our first date, I've been hooked ever since. Nice to see you become a fan and then your team wins a chapionship, sometimes fans live their whole lives not seeing that

My boyfriend asked me what made me become a fan and I said exactly that.... I gave it a chance. Now he says he has created a monster!~

Your boyfriend should feel very lucky. My wife is an avid sportsfan, Football, baseball, she has been known to Occasionally throw a fishing pole in the water, the point is he has someone to go to the games together with and that is cool. I often hear from folks that "THEY DON"T UNDERSTAND" hockey but really knowing a few basic rules it's easy to grasp the concepts. One evening we were watching our Local Cincinnati "Minor" league NFL football team and a player lined up wrong on the line and we got a penalty for that. I had to explain to her why it was a penalty and her words were, "and people tell me hockey is difficult to understand...Sheeez" nevertheless, welcome to the club Terri

I want to THANK all those that frequent this website!! Nothing I do with this website matters unless YOU come here and participate, even if only READING. Early in the season, Section60.com averaged about 150 visits per day. NOW... we've ramped up to (and STILL CLIMBING!) about 400-450 (609 on June 3rd!) visits PER DAY!! (May 6th thru June 5th, we've received 12,509 visits!!)

Again.... THANK YOU!!!

Let me add my thanks as well, Jevers. Your site is appreciated and evidently visited quite a bit. 12k+ hits in a month. Amazing.

Let's not convince too many people to become hockey fans. This advance ticketing stuff and long line deal is for the birds. Kidding.

"The only way David Desharnais will see an NHL game is if he buys a ticket".

"David Desharnais will be invisible during 5 on 5 hockey. IN THE AHL"

I have to say a thank you as well. I have been a Cyclones fan my whole life and I know a lot of people in the crowd, but this site has led me to meet so many more people that have been around just as long as me that I had no clue about.

I went to my first game shortly after my birth(Feb. of 1989) and ever since I have gone to almost every game for every year(never a season ticket holder though) from the Gardens to the Bank.

Anyway, thank you Jevers for running this site, I've always checked it but never joined it until this season and i'm glad I did.

CYCLONES HOCKEY!

Jevers-one more thank you from someone who has been a fan from the very first puck drop. Yours is a class site, with a lot of effort put into it, and is much appreciated!
