The Cyclones organization is asking for the fans help in planning for next season! They are asking that we support the sponsors, starting 1st with 96 ROCK. They have asked that we the fans send emails or letters expressing that you are a Cyclones fan and listen to the station both during games and non-hockey times and how much you apprciate them carrying the games this past season. These should be sent to either Michael Walter - michael.walter@cumulus.com and/or Karrie Sudbrack -karrie.sudbrack@cumulus.com.
I had already thanked them for the great partnership with the Clones and asked if 96 Rock was selling T-shirts or stickers. I told them I already had an old original 96 Rock sticker on my guitar and it was fading and wearing out. They are going to send me a sticker and a T-Shirt so I can wear it on stage (promo) when our band plays out this summer.
Someone posted on another website that 96 Rock has already pulled the plug on next year. Personally I think it's someone who holds a grudge against anything CYCLONES but.... ?
nothing has been pulled yet, hear negotations are on going and any support of the team to the station can only help and will not hurt. 96 rock has made huge gains but one of the largest is the two angry guys, they pull big numbers for them and they are a large sports talk type of show so having the clones on at night for 36-72 games would be a an added benefit to them.
please let 96 rock know how much having the clones on the radio means to you and the fans of cincinnati.
