Concrete Clones Returns to Meijer Locations This Summer Program Teaches Local Youth Hockey Education

Cincinnati, OH-The Cincinnati Cyclones proudly announce the Meijer Concrete Clones hockey education program will launch its 2008 campaign on July 19 stopping at area Meijer locations throughout the Greater Cincinnati Area. The free program will focus on the fundamentals, sportsmanship, and the fun of the game while taught by Cyclones coaches and front office staff. Each child will be provided with a stick, helmet, and pads for the afternoon’s training session. The participants will learn how to pass, shoot, and move with the hockey streetball. After the instruction time is over, the participants will be broken up into teams, which will briefly scrimmage.

Along with the hockey tutorial, there will also be a little something for everyone. The Meijer Concrete Clones will offer a tailgate area featuring grilled products from John Morrell. Fans will also have the opportunity to see a selection of trophies won by the team during the season including the Kelly Cup. The entire Meijer Concrete Clones event is free to the public!

“We are thrilled to be offering the Concrete Clones program again this summer and to be able to work with Meijer and John Morrell.,” said Cyclones Vice President and General Manager Kristin Ropp. “The sport of hockey continues to grow in the Cincinnati area and through great partners such as Meijer and John Morrell we have the ability to offer a great program to the Greater Cincinnati community and build the sport even more. The success of last years Concrete Clones program coupled with the amazing success of the team on the ice will certainly result in unmatched attendance at this years Meijer Concrete Clones outing.”

Each program will run from 12:00pm – 2:00pm.

Week 1—July 19th Colerain, Stone Creek Blvd
Week 2-- July 26th Florence, Houston Rd
Week 3—August 2nd Eastgate, Eastgate North Rd.
Week 4—August 9th Harrison, Harrison Ave

You're not skating. The kids wear gym shoes. I don't think there's an age limit.

I have video of my son, Kevin, skating at the very first concrete clones event. Man, I feel old now.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

ZINGER!!!!!
