Good article. I almost missed it since it was on page two. Hope this is just the beginning of decent coverge for the Cyclones this year. I emailed a "thank you" to Mr. Schmidt.
I received an email back from the sports writer and he said don't expect the coverage to continue. The coverage will just be like the past few years.....a recap of the games.
One thing I liked seeing in the paper was the promotion on selling tickets to tall stack patrons for $5. Now being a season ticket holder, I am willing to pay $2.50 more than someone next to me if it means we can maybe get the crowds back up.Wasn't it fun back in the Garden days on the nights with 8,000 plus and the place rock and rolling! The Enquirer article sounded like the staff realizes we are minor league sport meaning they have to earn their fans. I am going to miss the Wednesday game, but a buddy from work is happy to buy my cheaper seats so he can bring the family down.By the way,next week I'll get a chance to see Marc Magliarditi back in goal for Las Vegas on Tuesday night.
