I was there & got a good feeling about this. Matt is serious about having a good product out on the ice & to those selling tickets. He stated that he got rid of some "dead weight" & will continue to do so if needed. He said that all season ticket holders would be contacted by the reps & that they should even come introduce themselves to you/us at your respective seat locations. He wants to do this meeting on a monthly basis too, he said.
I was impressed that 99% of what he said I could believe.It was great to hear a hockey management person admit that Cincinnati will not support a high price hockey team like the WHA or for that point the NHL. I really don't think that 2 for 1 coupons is the answer,but telling the coaching staff that we need more physical play including fights will bring the fans back.Anyone who was at the game Wednesday sure got a season of fights that third period.Sunday's game should be real interesting.Thank you Matt for your honest answers and I hope we can have another meeting next month,just make sure we have a bigger room with some air conditioning!
