LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO--- The United Hockey League (UHL) announced Monday the official rosters for the Comcast 2004 UHL All-Star Classic. The Fort Wayne Komets will host the league’s fifth All-Star Classic on January 18, 2004 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The official rosters are comprised of 20 players (18 skaters and two goaltenders) with each Member Club represented by a minimum of two players (complete selection process information is included with this release).
2004 EASTERN CONFERENCE ALL-STARS
GOALTENDERS: Peter Aubry (Elmira) and Greg Hewitt (Columbus); DEFENSEMEN: Scott Drevitch (Adirondack), Martin Woods (Flint), Trevor Burgess (Elmira), Sylvain Dufresne (Flint), Jasmin Gelinas (Columbus) and Cal Benazic (Elmira); FORWARDS: center Evan Cheverie (Columbus), right wing Greg Koehler (Elmira), right wing Jay Murphy (Richmond), center John DiPace (Flint), center James Desmarais (Adirondack), center Kevin St. Jacques (Richmond), left wing Nick Bootland (Columbus), left wing Jim Duhart (Flint), left wing J.J. GOALTENDERS: Chad Alban (Kalamazoo) and Kevin St. Pierre (Fort Wayne); DEFENSEMEN: Trevor Johnson (Muskegon), Guy Dupuis (Kalamazoo), Kelly Perrault (Fort Wayne), Tom Menicci (Quad City), Scott Feasby (Muskegon) and Ryan Gillis (Missouri); FORWARDS: center Jeff Williams (Quad City), right wing Jason Sessa (Quad City), left wing Jesse Heerema (Missouri), center Steve Cygan (Rockford), center Todd Robinson (Muskegon) left wing Charlie Blyth (Missouri), left wing Martin Hlinka (Quad City), left wing Kelly Miller (Rockford), right wing Robin Bouchard (Muskegon), left wing David Noel-Bernier (Muskegon), left wing Brant Blackned (Muskegon) and center Colin Chaulk (Fort Wayne).
The official starting lineups for each roster will be selected by the fans. Fans are encouraged to visit the official website of the UHL (www.theuhl.com) to cast their vote starting Monday, January 5, 2004 through Monday, January 12, 2004.
