So does anyone think we will get any players back now that the Colombus Stars have folded?

Not a chance! The players thumbed there nose at management and went for the money they were supposed to get in the U. Look for the heirachy to be just as petty and refuse to take any of them back.

Word is Malcolm is going to Corpus Christi (CHL). We'll see how many drop another wrung.

I don't blame ANY of the players that signed with the UHL when
the ECHL was on strike.I wouldn't say this franchise has been the
most stable over the last few years so how can you say a player
thumbed their nose at us. If any of the old gang wants to come back
AND can help us, get them a uniform and show them to the ice. If
you could add Matt and Nick for veteran leadership with the mix we
have, this team could really take off.

AOL what Bags says. There was a lot of instability as the strike wore on so I'm not surprised the players took the money and run... or skated.

Doesn't mean that I don't think it stinks to holy hell.

I bought our season tickets two weeks before the season was to
start. I was told by the Cyclones that if the strike was not settled,
the team would start with replacement players.Last off season was not
stable here or in the ECHL, so give the players the benefit of the
doubt on their actions. They have families to look after and million
dollar salaries are few and far between here.

I'm not blaming the players. I am merely pointing out that the ownership of the team views the Cinti7 as traitors.

Good for Mally. I don't care what anyone says, letting him go was the first big mistake these new owners made.
