yes ladies and gent's... i was approached last night at my seat by an usher explaining to me there was a complaint about some obscene language in "my" location. i simple told the usher it WAS me... i didn't see why he had to act like he wasn't accusing me, as if it would offend me.
supposedly someone in front of me drinking a beer with his kids was offended over my remarks during the game. i'm sure his drinking and driving after the game could do no harm in influencing his children as much as my 'potty mouth' could do, eh?
i didn't realize taking your kids to a hockey game and seeing 2 men square up bare knuckle with one another is exactly a church social either.
i paid my 200-some odd dollars this year for season tickets so i could get away for a few hours on game nights to enjoy my local beloved minor league hockey team... and to let some hypocrit who has probably been to less than 2 games this year have say over something like this is beyond me.
i suppose the ushers are too busy enforcing their new policy on "evil" language at the games to see that there are several in attendence up/down constantly when puck is in play.
If they inforced that rule on Saturday night we all would have been gone! What I called Randy AND coach Chris in that first period would have made bikers even blush. Sometimes we all get a little over the top and might not realize it. Just chalk it up to one of those nights when you got caught sitting by the Brady Bunch.
I try to restrain myself if only for the general tastes of those sitting around me. But I damn near threw out the 'F' bomb last night. This squad is frikkin' horrible.
The team has 8 players on injured reserve. At least one player, Dunlap, will not be able to play the rest of the year. Worlton is coming back today, earlier than expected. Two players were hurt last night. One has a separated shoulder and the other a concussion. Hence, all the new players.
Was the concussion to Randy because his head sure wasn't working last night. Hey Chris, why did you wait so long to pull a goaltender who didn't have it last night? I blame last night's loss strickly on Chris. The team was playing hard the first period, but Randy couldn't make a stop and was forced to stay out there for who knows why.If Tyler was hurt, keep Todd McDonald and play him. It sure is hard not dropping the "F" bombs when the team plays like that.
