i guess we finally found out what this kid's problem is. he doesn't want to play... period?
denies his chance to play with Wheeling?
many people are saying he just knows he'll be a roster fill-in. well maybe if he'd pick up his game and show a little effort he'd actually work his way into a roster spot. nothing personal obviously, but i'm actually happy with this release/suspension/whatever you wanna call it. he was hurting the team. acted like he didn't even want to play (even when the team was playing hard against Idaho/Wheeling last week).
Now I'm really confused on trades in the ECHL.Chris C. tells us we can't talk to the opposing team's player before a trade, so does that mean we can't even talk to our own? Sounds to me like they knew he would turn the trade down and just wanted a reason to suspend him. I liked him when he came to the team but the injury seemed to take a lot out of him.I do like the Peoria type trade,a player to be named later. This way we find out if he will report and we can then send a player later to complete the trade.
Look at our last 10 games and my question would be-who cares which one of our players goes!Same old story last night-NO OFFENSE.I'd settle for a Friday night beer league player who shoots everytime the puck comes his way.
