First the bad news. Randy showed up in body but not in head and staked Toledo to a 4-0 lead. Now the good news. Chris woke up and pulled him after one and Tyler looked great. As the game went on, players started working together and we almost pulled it out.Another good point,I think the trade deadline is over, so maybe we can have the remainder of the season with these guys. Not much ECHL talent, but they never quit last night. Again I will take an empty net goal in an effort to tie the score. Just wished the referee would have chosen to call a few holding the sticks on Toledo everytime we had a man in front of their net.In closing, we may have lost but I got my money's worth due to their effort at the end. |

| i second that. the effort was not at all there in the first period... randy having a terrible game, and not to defend him, how open of a net can you get on juicy rebounds toledo was getting. the bounces definitely went there way. i guess in a season like this, that continues to happen. Lewandowski is really showing his stuff. he shows no quit in him. Escobedo the new d-man looks pretty decent, with a couple assists already. wish the team could learn to take the body more. |

What a killer Saturday night was! Tyler stands on his head all night long only to have the luck run out with two minutes left. If we could start next year with most of these guys, it could be a wild season. Everyone is hustling, very little dumping of the puck and EVERYONE seems to be going for the rebounds.Still very confused on attendance. Numbers from the USA TODAY site claimed 2500 for Friday (way high) and only 3300(way low) on Saturday? If our future depends on attendance, this really troubles me.All season the numbers have looked low for most games. |
