I got the same email and in my usual WARPED mind, how about this take on it.The arena still has a plan to possibly bring the team back and would rather see us go to Dayton and remain ECHL fans then go to Ducks games and become AHL level fans. You know which team I'm following. |

Yes, you are warped. LOL
That would make good business sense and we all know that Nederlanders' follies have no sense at all! |

Hey REVVED,Did you see OPENING NIGHT on a SATURDAY NIGHT for the Ducks. Even last year didn't we draw more than 4800 for our opening night with TWO teams in town? I know it is bad form to gloat but after hearing the Lance McCallisters of the Cincy sports scene telling us the Cyclones were a joke and should just go away and let the superior Ducks rule the town, it looks like our fans have stayed loyal to the team.My wish is for OUR owners to send out emails and letters to former season ticket holders in January and find out if they have support for next year.Until then, Dayton here we come. |

| Actually, I was there last night and saw many Cyclones jerseys (including my Halloween Beast). If there was 4800 there than they are counting the rats, employees and CAHA people next door at the practice facility and then doubling it! It was more like 2000, if that. |

I was there as well. Like at the Cyclones games, I was too busy watching the game to count the crowd. The game's so much more fun.
As for me supporting a team at USBA next year? Forget it. They ran the franchise into the ground. To me, what's done is done and it's time to move on. |

Just to play Devil's Advocate: It lends creedence to the whole Anaheim/Columbus/Syracuse rumor that was floating around. If the Robinson pull out and sell the AHL rights to Nederlander, then it would make perfect sense to advertise for the ECHL team of the Columbus BlueJackets when/if they pull out of Syracuse and relocates to Cincinnati after Anaheim pulls their team west.
Wishful thinking, I know, but it's the best conspiracy concept I can come up with LOL |

Well Gonzoid I can't blame you for your feelings towards the Cyclones ownership. The moves they made last year including the questionable attendance figures made it sure look like they wanted a reason to close us down,at least for this season. Maybe the WHL idea was their goal, but it sure wasn't right for the fans last year. I just can't bring myself to give the Robinson clan my support after what they put Doug Kirchofer and even the Xavier basketball team with their filthy arena and no improvements despite great crowds. |
