Anyone interested in joining a Simulation Hockey League? It's FREE and FOR FUN, and anyone is welcome to play. Here are some of the details:
** The Section 60 Sim Hockey League (S60SHL) will use Strat-O-Matic Computer Hockey (v4) to run the league.
** All games will be run by the Commissioner (Me), so there is no need to own the software.
** Players Stats from the 2003/2004 Season will be used.
Once I get the full list of people wanting to play, I will randomly produce a "draft order". Since it will be a nightmare to actually do a REAL Draft, (you know, getting everyone together at a specific time), this is how I've decided to work the "Draft":
Once I know how many Teams there will be, I'll have the software do an AUTO Draft and allow it to make the Teams. I'll then post the teams on the Website and we'll go in "Draft Order" and allow each of you to pick which Auto-generated team you wish to "coach".
Here is how the season will play out:
I will run a weeks-worth of games on Mondays. You, the "coach", would need to submit your Lineups, coaching strategies, etc.. (more details to come) to me by the Friday before the upcoming weeks games. IF you do not send in your lineups, whatever you sent in previously will remain in effect for the upcoming week.
After I run the weeks-worth of games, I will post the results on the website.
NOTE: I'm new to this software, so this is going to be a learning experience for me. That's why this is just FOR FUN.
