Coach Cameron has picked a date for the fan club to have their annual "Welcome to Cincinnati" picnic for the players. This will be a good chance to meet the players informally and for them to get acquainted with us.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5th, 2002
10am until 6pm (Rain or shine)
WINTON WOODS COUNTY PARK....RACCOON RIDGE SHELTER.
Everyone is welcome....$2 for non fan club members. Bring a covered dish big enough to share with others. We are hoping to have the meat and soft drinks donated so please keep checking for the latest info. (Paper products will be furnished by the fan club).
Location: Raccoon Ridge Shelter is off Lakeside Drive which is SOUTH of Winton lake off Winton Road heading towards Finneytown. If you are heading south on Winton Road and see McKelvey Road then you have gone too far. Going south Lakeside will be on the left at the first traffic light after crossing the lake. You can see the sign for the shelter from the intersection. First road on the left, go to end of road (deadends at the restrooms), turn LEFT and that is Raccoon Ridge.
LOOK FOR THE 'CYCLONES FAN CLUB' SIGN
Heading North....Lakeside Drive will be on the right at a traffic light after you pass McKelvey Road. After turning right you will make an immediate left to go to Raccoon Ridge Shelter. Follow directions up above after turning on Lakeside. If you cross over Winton Lake then you have gone too far.
There are 2 grills, fireplace, water, horseshoe pits.
If you do not have a Hamilton County Park sticker you will probably have to pay $1/car.
Please call Glyn Halsey (825-8918) or Jane Huelsman (542-2504) or Jan Colegrove (671-0149 if you are planning to attend so we will know how much meat and softdrinks to order.
Thanks....hope to see you the 5th! The guys will appreciate a nice crowd. Glyn
