CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators, announced this afternoon that defenseman Reid Cashman and forward Mark Van Guilder have been recalled by the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL).
Cashman, 26, is in his third professional season and has appeared in 18 games with the Cyclones, netting a goal and 18 assists for 19 points. In 30 games already this season with Milwaukee, Reid has four goals and seven assists for eleven points.
The six-foot-two, 215 pound native of Red Wing, MN, played four seasons at Quinnipiac University, earning four varsity letters and picking up 23 goals and 125 assists for 148 points in 151 games.
Van Guilder, 25, is in his second professional season, having appeared in 21 games with Milwaukee this year. He has collected four assists with the Admirals. Last season, Mark appeared in 65 games with the Cyclones, leading the team with 26 goals and 44 assists for 70 points. Three of his goals were overtime scores. This season, he has played 15 games with the Cyclones and has notched six goals and added five assists for eleven points.
The six-foot-two, 205 pound native of Roseville, MN, played four seasons at Notre Dame, earning four varsity letters and racking up 42 goals and 56 assists for 98 points in 163 games. Van Guilder and current Cyclone Brock Sheahan played for a Fighting Irish squad that advanced to the National Championship game in 2007-08.
The Cyclones play at Kalamazoo on Wednesday looking to gain a share of the North Division lead. The team comes home on Friday (April 2) for its final home game of the regular season on U.S. Bank Fan Appreciation Night against Johnstown. Hundreds of prizes worth more than $5000 will be given away to guests that night. Dollar hot dogs, dollar pizza slices and dollar beers will be available all night. The regular season ends with a visit to Wheeling on Saturday (April 3) night.
Tickets for the 2009-10 Cincinnati Cyclones season are now on sale. The Cyclones Sales Department can be reached at 513-421-PUCK, extension 3. The Cyclones have selected Friday night games carried on ESPN 1530 and all contests aired on their website at www.cycloneshockey.com. The next game carried on ESPN 1530 will be Friday, April 2 when Johnstown visits at 7:30pm on U.S. Bank Fan Appreciation Night.

| It has been different this year with Milwaukee making more call ups then Hamilton because of the way Milwaukee has their contracts with AHL/ECHL deals with Cashman, Van Guilder, Jozsa, and yes former clones McLean, and league traveler Leitch |

I couldn't agree more!! Makes me wonder how teams like Elmira can keep the Donati "wonder twins" for a whole season but, anytime one of our guys is good he gets called up. I'm happy for them to get the recognition but not for our team.
