The next meeting of the Greater Cincinnati Blueliners Club will be held on August 9th at 7:30 PM. The location will be the same as our kick-off meeting - Hooters restaurant on Fields Ertel Road. The date should be easy to remember - it's the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
Guest speaker will be Cincinnati Hockey Hall Of Fame inductee and Cincinnati Hockey legend Don Biggs. Don will be talking about the Cincinnati Junior Cyclones of the Central States Hockey League (Junior B), which will be the only live pro/semi-pro hockey that Cincinnati will have this coming season. He'll also answer questions about all things hockey.
For this meeting, I plan to have a "brain storming" session so we as fans can come up with a list of things to present to AHL Cincinnati management. This should include many of the items we discussed during the July kickoff meeting with Don Helbig, but we can introduce new ideas as well. Create a list and bring it to the meeting so we can tackle as many ideas as we can.
