Quote:catch22- Charlotte will be chippy the entire series. They are a bigger, nastier team than we are, and I suspect their game plan will be to just beat us up and wear us down. Lets hope it doesn't work. ----------------------------------------------------------
Unfortunately, it looks like it did, at least for one game. Seems like the Checkers brought a really big can of ''WHOOP-ASS'' to Sat's game! I heard they would be tough, despite some opinions that this would be relatively easy series for the boys, at least compared to S.C.

This was the 1st game the entire season that the Clones have been shut out. That's impressive.
Okay so home they come. Let's hope that puts us at a real home team advantage. |

Dont remember the last time we gave up 38 shots. Sounds like the used their size to forecheck us heavily and keep us in our defensive zone for long periods of time. We have had problems all year with teams that take that approach like Toledo. If we can get out of our zone quickly then our skating and speed take over and hopefully that will happen Wednesday. Hope there is a good crowd. Bring your friends or co-workers. Should be rocking |

Hopefully, a change of scenery can alter the physicality of this series. Right now I've seen two very rough games and if not for a couple breaks in game one, we should be down 2-0. I'm hoping the guys come out charged and ready for these home games because less than 2 out of 3 wins will doom them. |
