http://theahl.com/-dogs-eliminate-moose-with-ot-win-p142365 HAMILTON 3, MANITOBA 2 (OT) Hamilton advanced to the North Division Finals on Sunday night with a 3-2 overtime win over Manitoba in Game 6 of their opening-round series.
Hamilton awaits the winner of the other North Division semifinal, where Rochester will host Abbotsford in Game 7 on Tuesday.
Maybe Weber talked them into "borrowing" Mayer for Tuesday and Wednesday in Charlotte. |

I heard something on the radio before the first Charlotte game between John Hamel and coach Weber about the goaltender situation. Coach Weber said we could only sign US players, and none were available! That playoff rule was able to be bypassed, by signing the player(Petizian) to an amateur tryout agreement. I'm not sure of the length of time on the ATA, but it obviously has expired. Coach Weber said he hoped to have Robert Mayer back before then(not to happen)that this was the only way to get a second goalie, not to be confused with the EBG (Lee Lansdown), when activated, could only play if Smith got injured and was physically unable to continue play! |
