CINCINNATI, Ohio The Cincinnati Cyclones, the ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League, announced this afternoon that Account Executive Josh Burdine has been named the ECHLs Ticket Executive of the Year.

Burdine is the first individual member of the Cyclones front office to ever be tabbed for the honor and was a part of the 2009 squad that was named the ECHLs Ticket Department of the Year. The Ticket Executive of the Year award is determined by a vote of the ECHLs general managers.

For the third straight season, the Cyclones led the ECHL in percentage of attendance increased at 25.2 percent. Cincinnati also established a Kelly Cup Finals record for single game attendance at 13,438 for the title clinching game at U.S. Bank Arena over Idaho on May 21. The Cyclones also posted four of the top ten regular season crowds in team history during the campaign.

Josh was the top sales person for the Cyclones in 2009-10, helping to attract 5439 fans through group sales, another 133 full season ticket equivalents, a yearly suite and a sponsorship sold. All told, he was responsible for more than 10,000 fans attending games this season.

Burdine, who just finished his second season as an employee with the team, is a native of Reading, Ohio and a 2008 graduate of Bowling Green State University.

Burdine joins Cyclones Vice President and General Manager Kristin Ropp (ECHLs Executive of the Year) as individual award winners at the league meetings in Las Vegas.
