Too bad Eric Cole has to watch from the side because of a cheap shot injury.His is a prime example why a dirty play resulting in an injury should cost you a suspension of the length the injured player is out or one year.Hard hits are one thing but running someone headfirst into the ice or the boards MUST BE STOPPED!!!
What a game! I wanted to see Edmonton win (been an Oilers fan since I was a kid, the days of Gretzky, Messier, Moog, Coffey), but it was nice to see Cole raise the cup.
Any chance that he will want to spend his day with the cup here in Cincinnati? I can dream, can't I?

Good to see the Canes finally raise the Cup. I was kind of torn because I managed a game in Columbus this year and sat right behind the Oilers. The Oilers players and coaches were all really nice to us, to the point of Ken Lowe handing us his World Cup of Hockey ring he won with Canada...
