Well, I just came from Coach Weber's sendoff party at Star Lanes in Newport. What a great time for those of you who missed it. Ownership of course was also there in Mr. Harris and Ms. Ropp along with a lot of the staff.
Of particular interest was Coach Weber officially passing the reigns to the new Cyclones Head Coach, Jarrod Skalde, who was also there. I challenge anyone who was there and spoke to him to say they were not impressed with him. I want to be among the first to say I feel MUCH better now than I did 3 hours ago! I can't help but to be extremely optimistic that between Coach Weber's obvious passion for this team, and ownerships obvious dedication to it, there is no way this guy will be set up for failure. He will be given every resource out there to keep the winning tradition going, and I will be surprised if he doesn't have the tools to accomplish just that.
All I can say is...come on October! IT'S TIME TO DEFEND OUR TITLE! |
