For those of you have not checked out an AAHL game yet, what are you waiting for? I have seen the ECHL and CHL this year, and by far the guys on the Troy Bruins and Queen City Storm played their hearts out. I was impressed by the speed, and efficiency that this league plays with. Both teams did not back down and played hockey at a very high rate of 61 minutes. The Queen City Storm will be getting more of my money this year! GO STORM!

The only thing that keeps me from going to these games is the league is very VERY fragile. I am not saying anything negative about the Storm because it probably has a very good foundation, but the league has too many issues that causes games to be canceled and teams to fold quickly and sometimes in mid season.

I've been meaning to check out a game, but living in Kentucky means that Sports Plus is quite the hike.. I've enjoyed every QC Steam game I've been to and would love to check out a Storm game soon.

Do they do student discounts with college IDs?

Couple of my friends went and said it was pretty good, I saw part of a game online and it seemed to be a fairly fast pace. When they showed the game from a camera that was up higher it was better, from ice level it seemed foggy from the glass there. They seem to be coming up w/some pretty good promotions and so far the league seemed to handle it when one team folded before the season started and another moved. Having a team in Troy probably helps have some in state rivalry.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

If interested there is a double-header this sunday at SportsPlus. The Queen City Steam play at 1:00 followed by the Queen City Storm at 5:00. I will be there for both games, as a spectator for the Steam and goal judge for the Storm. Just enough time in between game to grab a pizza at Pizza hut.

Donnie if you go with just the intentions of watching a hockey game, and not looking for the next Sidney Crosby you will have a great time.

I've gone to games to watch Sidney Crosby, but I've never gone to a game looking for the next Sidney Crosby.
