Tonight's game between the Columbus Blue Jackets and New York Islanders is a story about two teams going in opposite directions.

The Blue Jackets have won four straight games, while the Islanders haven't won since October 21.

Former Cincinnati Mighty Ducks forwards Zenon Konopka and Pierre Parenteau are members of the Islanders. Another former AHL Duck, Chris O'Sullivan, is a pro scout for New York.

Islanders Assistant Coach Scott Allen had a cup of coffee with the original Cyclones franchise in 90-91 and played 6 games with the Clones.

Scott Allen was released by the Cyclones to create room on the roster for Kevin Kerr. He's an outstanding coach.
