Another rookie signing, but a signing nonetheless ...
"CINCINNATI - The Cincinnati Cyclones announced that they have signed rookie forward Torry Gajda to a tryout contract.
The 23-year-old, who attended training camp with Worcester of the AHL, played the last four years at Providence College where he had 78 points (37g-41a) and 137 penalty minutes in 135 games, including 2005-06 when he led the team with a career-high 34 points in 36 games, registering career bests with 14 goals and 20 assists."
